I am a fine artist, curator, writer, and mother residing in the Crossroads Arts District.

My work is an effort to show the circular, unending, and intractable nature of time; an exploration of the potentiality for the transmutation of discomfort. I think each piece is a conversation between me, the material, time, and the ether. I view my process as a meditative practice wherein I'm in conversation with the material, not strictly bending it to my will. It is a practice of release and an acknowledgment of our inability to control much in life. The planning, sketching, mixing, and preparations allow the material an equal place of importance - further amplified by the slow drying process in which the piece dramatically reveals itself.

I enjoy moving between painting on paper, canvas, and silk and thoroughly enjoy making delicate beeswax sculptures as an exploration of dimensional expression.
